My worst nightmare

We all have them.

Some completely relatable, some, well....kinda weird.

I'm going to let y'all in on a little secret about things that scare me.

Again, some you may relate to, others may ensure my stay at the local mental hospital.

Numero Uno

Snakes.

Y'all, I can't even google a picture to put in this number one spot.  I get creeped out soooooo badly.  I'm not kidding, my fear of snakes is borderline irrational.

I 100% blame it on my mom being bit by a snake when I was a little girl.  I distinctly remember before then picking up garter snakes and other nonpoisonous snakes on a regular basis & slinging them around & watching them fly when I was little.

Now, however, even the fake toy ones you see at Wal-Mart will have me bypassing that isle completely.

Freak out is a mild, understated term for what happens when I encounter them.

Numero Dos

Frogs.

Yeah, you read that right.

This 29 year old, fully independent female is PETRIFIED of frogs!

Little bitty tree frogs, big nasty lookin' bullfrogs, it doesn't matter.

A frog is a frog is a frog and they creep me out!!

My grandma's front lawn & walkway used to be covered with these little things at night in the summertime and my tail would walk along the fence line - a good 40 yards or so - just to avoid the potential contact with frogs.

Or even just being in their general vicinity makes me shudder.

I can't even look at that dude's picture above w/out shivering.  LOL

Numero Tres

A budget.

LOL.

I'm pretty sure everyone's scared of a budget.  Or at least they have been at one point in time in their life.

Dave Ramsey and I need to have a "come to Jesus" meeting but I keep rescheduling.

I have things to do, ya know?  Like buying (read: spending money) all those books I keep reading and eating out almost every night because I'm too lazy to cook.
